Immunizations

The Door County Public Health Department is able to provide vaccines to:

  • Children (18 years of age and younger) who:
    • Have no insurance
    • Are enrolled in Medical Assistance/BadgerCare
    • Are Native American or Alaskan Native
    • Have health insurance that does not cover vaccines (please check with your child’s insurance provider)
  • Adults who:
    • Have no insurance
    • Have health insurance that does not cover vaccines (please check with your insurance provider)

For all children who are eligible for vaccines at the health department, all routine childhood and adolescent vaccines will be given at no charge.

Eligible adults may receive some vaccines free from the health department, please ask about vaccine availability. Some vaccines may have a charge.

  • Seasonal Influenza Vaccine $38.00, we accept cash, check or Medicare Part B
  • Adult Hepatitis A $70.00 per dose
  • TB (Mantoux) Skin Tests $15.00

Wisconsin Immunization Registry

Vaccines, also called shots or immunizations, are given over a person’s lifetime to keep everyone healthy. The Wisconsin Immunization Registry, also called WIR, allows patients, parents, and guardians of children to view their vaccine record and keep track of their vaccines.
