Plum Bottom County Park is the 20th County Park in Door County. It offers a simple yet relaxing place to stop and enjoy as you travel further north into the county or as a quick rest on your way south.
History:
Prior to becoming a Door County Park, Plum Bottom was a State wayside area. Door County had been maintaining the wayside for several years before they accepted the land from the state so it could be better cared for.
The Park is located on the 45th Parallel, which is the halfway point between the equator and the North Pole.
